William L. “Bill” Bradstreet, Sr., Age 70, Of Battle Creek, Died Thursday, April 28, 2016, surrounded by his family. Bill was born on March 17, 1946, in Battle Creek, the son of William R. and Dorothy D. (Damon) Bradstreet. He had been a lifelong resident of the area and attended Marshall High School. He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army. He had been employed at Post Cereals for 30 years until his retirement. On September 21, 2002, he was united in marriage to the former Barbara S. Gabriel who survives. Bill was a member of the V.F.W. and the American Legion on 20th Street. He enjoyed bowling, fishing and camping. Surviving are his children, William Bradstreet, Jr., Bobby (Diane) Bradstreet, Jim (Donna) Bradstreet, Brian (Tracy) Bradstreet, Duane Moore, Brian (Liz) Moore and Crystal (Todd) Sandin; 17 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; brothers, Donald (Joyce) Bradstreet, Robert Bradstreet and a sister, Patricia (Rey) Polendo; Aunt Wil and Chub Sayler, Uncle Bill Ray and Uncle Don Damon; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, May 2, 2016, at the Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens Chapel with visitation from 12:30 p.m. to the time of service.
