Vivian Hepfinger

Vivian G. Hepfinger, 90 of Clinton Township, Michigan, formerly of Battle Creek, died Saturday, May 21, 2011. She was born January 4, 1921 in Bowling Green, Ohio the daughter of Capp and Winifred (Johnston) Amos. Vivian graduated from Bowling Green State University in 1945, was a school teacher for over 30 years and retired from the Battle Creek School System in 1980. She was a former member of Westlake Presbyterian Church where she had served as an Elder and was currently a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Utica. In 1942 Vivian was married to Richard Lewis Hepfinger who preceded her in death on October 26, 1994. She was also preceded in death by a daughter: Nancy Hepfinger. Surviving are two children: Karen (Joseph) Miracola of Sterling Heights and Gary (Christina) Hepfinger of Clinton Township; three grandchildren: Nancy Miracola (Todd) Bucholtz of Harbor Beach, Nicole (Shawn) Langlois of Macomb Township and Shannon (Bob) Angeli of Rochester; four great-grandchildren; and one sister: Eileen Baumgardner of Akron, Ohio. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. Private interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
