Virginia Mead

Virginia E. Mead, age 94, of Battle Creek, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2016. She was born August 5, 1921 in Hastings, Michigan the daughter of Charles and Emaline Tebo. Throughout the years she had worked at several printing companies in the area and was a former member of Westlake Presbyterian Church. On April 4, 1942 she was married to Dean H. Fell and he preceded her in death on January 31, 1984. Virginia later married Bryan Mead on May 5, 1990 and he also preceded her in death. She was also preceded by her parents; two sisters: Geneva and Gen; and two brothers: Garald and Linden. Virginia is survived by two sons: Gary (Crystal) Fell of Westminster, CO and Allen Fell of Battle Creek; step-children: Kevin (Shelly) Mead of Chicago, IL, Karen (Pat) Green, John Mead and Lisa Mead all of Battle Creek; six grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; sister, Marjorie Sines of Middleville; brother, Charles Tebo, Jr. of Hastings; many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at the funeral home with interment to follow at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens. www.henryfuneralhome.org
