Violet R. Bosrock, age 96, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away August 25, 2016. She was born on November 16, 1919 in Battle Creek, Michigan the daughter of Mathew and Catherine (Prilika) Cipcic. Violet moved from the Battle Creek area to Santa Monica, California then onto Las Vegas where she made her home. Violet was employed by Post Cereal, Douglas Aircraft and was a homemaker. She attended St. Philip Catholic Church in Battle Creek and Saint Peter the Apostle in Henderson, Nevada. In her free time she enjoyed sewing, folk dancing, Croatian music, spending time with her grandchildren and her many trips to Michigan with her husband. She was married for 62 years to her husband, Peter J. Bosrock, whom preceded her in death on March 7, 2000. She was also preceded by her daughter, Evon Bosrock in 1941. Violet was the monarch of her family, her family was her heart and most important to her. She is survived by two daughters, Carole Bosrock of Las Vegas, NV. and Janet Foreman of Tulsa, OK., sister, Polly Monroe of Tulsa, OK., six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 6, 2016 from 6-8 PM at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home with the reciting of the Rosary at 7 PM. Mass of Christian burial will be 10:00 AM on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at St. Philip Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Arrangements are by Richard A.
