Tonia Jean Everette Chaney

Tonia Jean “Bonz” Chaney, age 54, of Battle Creek, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2015. She was born October 13, 1960 in Battle Creek, Michigan the daughter of Ramon William and Anna Grace (Vaden) Chaney, Sr. She loved spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren; enjoyed going to Blue Lake, riding motorcycles, playing darts and gardening. She is survived by her mother Anna Grace Allen of Battle Creek; son: Thomas (Robin) Waybrant of Battle Creek; two daughters: Ronnie Snook of Burr Oak and Billie Jean Holmes of Battle Creek; seven grandchildren: Destanie West, Daisy West, Cadence West, Lance Schull Jr, Keilor Holmes, Robert Holmes and Alexia Hayes; three brothers: John, Dewey and Bill Chaney; two sisters: Dawn Campbell and Lorretta Chaney Bobb; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, sister Janet Chaney and brother Randall Chaney. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial gathering will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 8, 2015 at The Burk Recreational Center, 6944 E Drive North, Battle Creek, MI 49014.
