Timothy Sheahon age 68, of Battle Creek passed away June 20, 2016 at his residence. He was born June 10, 1948 in Battle Creek, the son of John and Ethel (McNeill) Sheahon. Timothy graduated in 1966 from Lakeview High School, and received his Bachelors of Arts & Social Work Degree from Western Michigan University. He served in the United States Air Force from 1967-1970, and in the Army National Guard Reserve in Battle Creek from 1970-1993. He was a member of the VFW Post #298. Timothy was employed as a social worker by the State of Michigan/Michigan Works/VA Administration. He enjoyed shooting and working on guns, and was an avid reader of news reports. Timothy was preceded in death by his father in 1994 and mother in 2006. Surviving is a brother, Mark (Sandra) Sheahon of Adrian. Three sisters; Michele (Fred) Thenen of Tekonsha, Susan (Jim) Hutton of Baker City, OR. and Maureen Sheahon of Howell. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 30, 2016 from 12:00-1:00 PM at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home. Funeral services with Military honors will follow at 1:30 PM at Fort Custer National Cemetery.
