Timothy Schreiner

Timothy A. Schreiner, age 61, of Bedford Twp., passed away on November 10, 2021, at his residence. He was born on October 12, 1960, in Battle Creek, the son of Robert D. and Mary Y. (Szabo) Schreiner. Tim was a lifelong area resident of Battle Creek. He graduated from Lakeview High School in 1979. Tim graduated from the Columbia School of Broadcasting in Indianapolis, IN. He worked in radio and television sports broadcasting on the professional and local levels throughout his life. He also coached baseball, softball and basketball at several of the area high schools including Bellevue, Harper Creek, Lakeview and Battle Creek Central. Tim enjoyed all spectator sports and was an all-time fan of the University of Michigan. He enjoyed trivia and spending time with his family and friends. Surviving are his parents; Robert and Mary Schreiner of Bedford Twp., brothers; Greg (Roxanne) Schreiner of Coldwater, MI., Bob (Lisa) Schreiner of Galesburg, MI., and several nieces and nephews. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Thursday, November 18, 2021, at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home & Cremation Service, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Rev. Eric Perry, officiating. Private inurnment will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to Christ United Methodist Church or Lakeview High School-Athletic Department.
