Thomas Allan Guilfoyle, age 70, of Ceresco, passed away Monday, March 30, 2015 at Oaklawn Hospital with his loving family by his side. Tom was born April 30, 1944 in Kalamazoo, Michigan the son of Harold and Rosemary (O’Rourke) Guilfoyle. He attended Battle Creek Central High School and went on to serve his country during the Vietnam War in the U.S. Marine Corps from October 1968 to March 1970. Tom worked at Clark Equipment Company both here in Battle Creek and Kentucky until their closing, and then worked at Overhead Door and Doors Unlimited until his retirement. He was a member of the Battle Creek Motorcycle Club, and enjoyed NASCAR, hunting, fishing, camping and gardening. On June 17, 2000 Tom was married to Paula J. (Fleming) who survives. Also surviving are three children: Sharlene (Juan) Ramirez, Kerri (Raul) Moreno and Mindi (Tony) Forchione; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; his former wife: Linda J. Guilfoyle; five brothers and sisters: Carol (Albert) Sutfin, Charles (Kay) Guilfoyle, James (Linda) Guilfoyle, Mary Brandt and Shirley (Denny) Hubbard; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 3, 2015 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Robert L. Zuhl officiating and interment to follow at Fort Custer National Cemetery.
