Thomas Giddings

Thomas “Steve” Giddings, 63, of Battle Creek passed away Friday January 27, 2012 at home. He was born on August 6, 1948 in Battle Creek to Thomas D. and Mary F. (Shouldice) Giddings. Steve graduated from St. Philip High School in 1969. He married Kimberly Reafsnyder in 1974, they were married for 27 years until their divorce. Steve was employed at Denso Manufacturing for sixteen years until he retired in 2011. He is survived by his sons, Matthew M. (fiancée, Renee Hoefler) Giddings, of Battle Creek and Cory A. (Gravatt) Giddings, of Denver, CO; two grandchildren, Connor and Kendal, a brother, Michael L. Giddings, of Battle Creek, and a sister, Carolyn Tremoglie, of CA. Steve attended the First Wesleyan Church. He enjoyed fishing, spending time outdoors, time with his family and friends, and he loved his dogs. Family will receive friends from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm Thursday at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home where funeral services will be held at 1pm Friday February 3, 2012. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Humane Society of South Central Michigan.
