Sylvia A. Farmer, 77, of Battle Creek passed away Tuesday March 26, 2013 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo. She was born on March 18, 1936 in Dayton, TN to Estelle and Sylvia Dyer.
Sylvia was married to Euell Farmer, he preceded her in death Jan. 6, 2000. She was employed by VC Squires and Hosh’s Grill.
Sylvia is survived by her sons, Russell W. (Rose) Farmer, Lloyd A. (Patricia) Farmer, and Larry M. (Pam) Farmer, all of Battle Creek, several grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and several great great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, and four brothers.
Sylvia enjoyed playing cards, spending time with her grandchildren, and she loved her pets.
Family will receive friends from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm Friday March 29, 2013 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home where services will be held 1pm Saturday. Interment will follow at Reese Cemetery.
