Susan Ralston

Susan E. Ralston, age 47 of Battle Creek, passed away Thursday, April 28, 2016 in Kalamazoo, Michigan.  She was born on August 26, 1968 the daughter of Harvey Kenton and Donna Irene (Lugar) Benedict.  Susan was a 1986 graduate of Lakeview High School and currently worked on the line at TRMI, Inc. since 1990.  She loved spending time with her son, family and many friends.  She volunteered for tiger and large cat rescues, and enjoyed baking and kayaking in her spare time.  She is survived by her son, Cody Ralston of Battle Creek; her parents of Battle Creek; two sisters: Ann (Ken) Cilley of Battle Creek and Janet (Tim) Mantei of Butte, ND.; former husband, Brian Ralston of Battle Creek;  special friend, Scott Crandall of Battle Creek and several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home.   Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.  Memorial contributions may be given to the American Red Cross or the University of Michigan Hospital, Cardiology Unit.  www.henryfuneralhome.org
