Steven Crieg Daghuer (Steve), 56 of East Leroy, MI passed away unexpectedly on December 27, 2021. He was born in Detroit, MI to Albert and Charlcie (Vivian) Daghuer. He completed high school in 1983 from Deckerville Community High School. He was a long-time employee at Berrier Paint and Clean and Art Unlimited.

He was a former resident of the Upper Peninsula (Yooper). He was an avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting, fishing, and camping. He enjoyed canning foods and gardening. Steve loved to spend time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren along with his friends. He also loved spending time with his dogs. He loved morning coffee with his mom, Vivian and loved to work on cars with his late father, Al. He enjoyed camp with Jimbo and Spanky. He shared many special adventures with his sister Terri.  He was a big fan of the Detroit Tigers, Lions, and Red Wings.

Steve is survived by his children Charlcie (Ian) Reschner, Steven (Rosie) Daghuer, Shylyn (Reba) Daghuer – Williams, Dalton Williams, Destinee (Randall) Gray, Delaney (Curtis) Tallent, Rand Daghuer, Coltin (CJ) Tuttle, Hali (Dillon) Spoelhof, Bryson Faulk, and David (Brittney) Berrier. His grandchildren Kaitlyn, Christopher, Jasmine, Evangelynn, RJ, Kylie, KaiLynn Gander, Camdyn, Steven, EmmaLynn, Emmitt, Izayah, Zoe, Jack, and Liam, two great-grandchildren Railynn and Racheal. Siblings Terri Daghuer Rand Dempsey, Gail Vogel, and his mother Charlcie (Vivian) Daghuer. Special friends Jimbo, Brian Anderson (Spanky), Cathi Berrier, Katie Berrier, Joe Tuttle, Bill Williams, and Brett Faulk.  Nieces and nephews, Meghan, Alexa, and Dante.

Steve was preceded in death by his former late wife of 13 years Naoma Williams, his brother Samuel Daghuer, his father Albert Daghuer. Paternal grandparents Mary De’Roshier and Slimin Daghuer. Maternal grandparents Charles Gentry and Marcell Bodnar, and his special dog Gabby.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday January 3rd at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 703 Capital Ave Southwest, Battle Creek, MI 49015. Funeral services are scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday January 4 th 2022 at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Behr officiating. Luncheon services to follow at 12:30 p.m. at The Milton apartments downtown Battle Creek 25 West Michigan Avenue, Battle Creek. MI 49017 (formally the Heritage Tower).
