Steven Wesley Brininstool, age 66, of Battle Creek, MI passed away comfortably at his home on Sunday, February 25 th , 2018. Born February 12, 1952, the son of Vaughn and Velma (Powell) Brininstool. He was alumni of the class of 1970 from Battle Creek Central High School, as an entrepreneur, he started a career in the field of fur trading. The knowledge he obtained led him to become a licensed contractor where his journey brought him to the co-owner of Midwest Communication Services. He was a man of God and devoted to his family, a trait he shared with his wife and best friend of 45 years Roxann (Yatalese) Brininstool. He will forever be remembered as that family man that looked forward to every holiday celebration, which included his annual 4th of July party that was started in the late 70's and has been upheld to this day. Steve enjoyed hunting, fishing, bird watching, and nature for all of its beauty. His greatest fulfillment was sharing time and memories with his grandchildren. He had a passion for wood working and the tranquility of the lake life, which he passed on to his children. He is survived by his best friend and wife of 45 years, Roxann Brininstool , his son Willis Wesley Brininstool, his daughters Penney (Kyle) Durbin, Lacy (John) Coffman, & his 5 grandchildren, Brothers Larry A. Powell, James W. Brininstool, Sisters; Laura L. Mackinder, Carol A. Brininstool, Linda K. Ryan, Janet M. Brininstool, Nancy M. Howard, and his beloved Cousin Tim Hulce. He is proceeded in death by his parents, Brother William V. Brininstool, Sisters Ruth A. Davis and Mary J. Krueger. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 1, 2018 from 2-4pm & 6-8pm at Richard A. Henry Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:30pm on Friday, March 2, 2018 at the funeral home, with interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
