Stephany Miller

Stephany Miller, age 83, of Fine Lake, Michigan passed away Sunday, August 25, 2013 with her loving family by her side. She was born March 3, 1930 in Ironwood, Michigan the daughter of John and Mary Banaszak. She graduated from Battle Creek Central High School in 1948 and worked at Barker Manufacturing in the office, retiring in 1989. Stephany enjoyed being with her family, watching the hummingbirds at the lake, going to the casino and watching the game show channel. She was a longtime member of St. Jerome Catholic Church. In 1948 she married Richard J. Miller, Sr. and they were married 60 years. Stephany is survived by her children: Richard J. Miller, Jr. and Vicki Davis; three grandchildren: Sarah Miller, Carly Miller and Kim Wiederhold and one great-granddaughter: Mary Williams all of Battle Creek; two sisters: Joanne (Richard) Gibson of Battle Creek and Pat (Fred) Adamson of Hickory Corners; and one brother: John (Linda) Banaszak of Battle Creek. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Richard “Dick” Miller, Sr; three sisters: Irene Girten, Marion Gibson and Betty Calloway; and two brothers: Edward and Walter Banaszak. The family will receive friends at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 1:00 p.m. Thursday at St. Jerome Catholic Church with The Very Rev.
