Died Monday, July 2, 2018, at Boschway Adult Foster Care. Sophie was born on February 5, 1919, in Joliet, IL, the daughter of Stanley and Josephine (Tomasczewski) Drewno. She attended St. Mary’s School in Bronson. Sophie had been an area resident since 1940. On September 16, 1939, she was united in marriage to Ignatz “Iggie” Frontczak who preceded her in death in 2002. She worked for Darling Fixtures in Bronson and then for G.F. Post- Carton and Container Division as a paper finisher from 1940 to the early 1960’s. She was a member of St. Philip Catholic Church, The Perpetual Adoration Society and the P.N.A. Club. She enjoyed flower gardening, cooking and homemaking. Surviving is a brother, Edward Drewno of Battle Creek and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by Brothers, Stanley, Matthew, John Drewno and sisters, Anna Sobecki, Frances Noga and Josephine Paliga. Visitation will be Held Thursday from 4 to 7:00 p.m., at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 6, 2018, at St. Philip Roman Catholic Church. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Battle Creek Area Catholic Schools. www.henryfuneralhome.org
