Shayne Campbell

Shayne A. Campbell, age 59, of Battle Creek, passed away Friday, November 14, 2014 at the Lifespan Good Samaritan Hospice Residence. She was born July 21, 1955 in Battle Creek, Michigan the daughter of Mason D. and Darlene R. (Singer) Mayo. Shayne graduated from Battle Creek Central High School in 1973 and was a member of the marching band. Following graduation she moved to California and worked for the Murray Construction Company. In 2004 she moved back to Battle Creek and continued to work for the Murray Company from her home. Shayne attended Christ United Methodist Church. She is survived by her parents; three nieces: Melissa Demaree, Sara Thurman and Crystal Mayo, and many great nieces and great nephews. Shayne was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Campbell on June 27, 2007; sister Sheila E. Mayo and brother Howard L. Mayo. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home with Rev. Carolyn Robinson-Fisher officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
