Sharon Richardi

Sharon A. Richardi, age 76, of Battle Creek, passed away on July 16, 2019 at her residence.  She was born on July 12, 1943 in Monroe, Michigan, the daughter of Pete and Grace (Bomia) Raymond.  Sharon was a homemaker and was previously employed by Big Wheel, Target and the Elite Company.  She also was a member of St. Philip Catholic Church.  Sharon enjoyed gardening, collecting elephant figurines, bingo, bowling, softball and loved spending time with her great grandchildren and dogs.  Sharon was preceded in death by her husband; Donald P. Richardi in 1995, daughter; Cathy Richardi in 2004, and son, Thomas Richardi in 2018.  She is survived by her son; James (Brandy) Richardi of Battle Creek, daughter in law; Jane Richardi of Battle Creek, adopted daughter; Lori McDaniels of Battle Creek, grandchildren; Amanda Rhodes of Kentucky, Tony Richardi of Battle Creek, step grandchildren; Brigitt Watson , Chance Johnson , Merissa White, Christopher White, all of Battle Creek and eight great grandchildren.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 21, 2019 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home & Cremation Services.  Funeral services are scheduled for 12:00 p.m. on Monday, July 22, 2019 at the funeral Home, with interment to follow at Fort Custer National Cemetery.  Following the committal service, a luncheon will be held at Battle Creek Local 705, 8680 Verona Road, Battle Creek.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Humane Society of South Central Michigan.  Condolences for the family may be left at www.henryfuneralhome.org
