Sharon Mead

Sharon A. Mead, age 70, of Union City, passed away Friday, July 18, 2014. She was born April 15, 1944 in Battle Creek, Michigan the daughter of Glen and Shirley (Powell) Crawmer. Sharon graduated from Lakeview High School. She was a very giving person and volunteered in many organizations including Hospice and the American Cancer Society. On April 4, 1964 she was married to Charles C. Mead who survives. Also surviving are two children: Christopher (Marcy) Mead and Beth (Tony) VandenHamburgh; five grandchildren and one brother: Doug (Sue) Crawmer. She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother Gary Crawmer. The family will receive friends at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home on Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 8220 M-60, Union City, MI, 49094 with The Very Reverend Mark J.
