Sally Huffman

Died on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital. Sally was born on April 21, 1946, in Battle Creek, the daughter of Marston and Elizabeth (Dula) Moll. She had been a lifelong resident of the area graduating from Lakeview High School in 1964, and then earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Olivet Nazarene College in 1968. On April 26, 1969, she was united in marriage to Richard A. Huffman who preceded her in death in 2016. Sally taught at Post Elementary, then was employed at Community Hospital as an EKG Technician. She was involved with the Children’s Ministry at the First Wesleyan Church for 10 years before going back to teaching at Calhoun Christian School until her retirement in 2012. Sally was a member at Woodland Church (formerly First Wesleyan Church), she loved being with her grandchildren and always had fun activities planned for when they came over.  She enjoyed hosting birthdays and holidays. She was always looking through cook books, finding new recipes to try, and was the best gift giver.  Surviving is her son, Travis (Bethany) Huffman; grandchildren, Christian, Layla, Hayley and Luke Huffman and a daughter-in-law, Michelle Huffman. She was preceded in death by a son, Nathaniel “Nate” T. Huffman in 2015; an infant son, Robby Huffman in 1973; her parents and a brother, Robert Moll in 1993. Visitation will be held Monday, March 28, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at the funeral home. Interment will be at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens.
