Sally Bortz

Sally Mae Bortz, age 75, of Battle Creek, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2016 at Bronson Battle Creek. She was born February 18, 1941 in Crawford, Tennessee the daughter of Sherman and Mary M. (Jones) Lane. Sally was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved her grandchildren. Surviving are her husband William “Bill” Bortz; seven children: Debra Richardi, Randy (Connie) Crusciel, Lori Bortz, William (Susan) Bortz, Jr, Mary (Scott) Newling, Susann Bortz and Brett (Sarah) Bortz; twenty-two grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren; brother John (Lorna) Lane and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister Evelyn Richey. The family will receive friends at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 19, 2016 at the Funeral Home with Rev.
