Sally Anne Audette, 65, of Climax, died Thursday, December 22, 2011. She was born February 12, 1946 in Battle Creek, Michigan and attended Delton Kellogg Schools. Sally had most recently worked as a waitress at Denny’s restaurant and prior to that had worked at several other restaurants in the Kalamazoo area. Sally is survived by three children: Kimberly Audette, Russell (Christine) Audette and Chris (Laurie) Audette; six grandchildren: Heather, Andrew, Chase, Adam, Nolan and Jenna; close friend, Jackie Whitney; sister, Mary (Lyndell) Bird; brother, Jerry Shedd and special friend Lisa Geyer; two stepsisters: Dee Forrest and Caroline (Bill) Kopp; two stepbrothers: Charlie Palone and Richard (Diane) Palone; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and stepmother: Ernest and Dolores Shedd; two stepsisters: Jackie Hack and Janet Swanson and a stepbrother, Jim Jones. A memorial service to celebrate Sally’s life will be held Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Country Christian Evangelical Free Church, 9286 South 36th Street, Scotts, MI. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be given to the Humane Society or Make A Wish Foundation.
