Rudy Zidarevich

Rudy  M. Zidarevich, Age 84, of Battle Creek, Died July 13, 2013 At Borgess Medical Center. Rudy was born on December 19, 1928, in Battle Creek, the son of Michael and Mary (Pollack) Zidarevich. He had been a lifelong resident of the area and attended Battle Creek Schools and then St. Philip High School. In 1948 he married his wife of 65 years, the former JoAnn J. Burt who survives. Rudy was employed at the Kellogg Company for 43 years retiring in 1988. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He enjoyed working in the yard, painting, woodworking, traveling, spending time with his family and grandchildren and was a person who loved life. Surviving are children, Rudy (Cindy) Zidarevich of Illinois, Mike (Debbie) Zidarevich of Battle Creek, Mary (Tim) Duggins of California, Steve (Tina) Zidarevich of Battle Creek, Joseph Zidarevich of California and John (Joni) Zidarevich of California; 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; a brother, John (Theresa) Zidarevich of Battle Creek. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Steve Zidarevich. Visitation will be held today from 5 to 8:00 p.m., at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 17, 2013, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with The Very Rev. Mark J.
