Rose Marie Sly peacefully went home to be with her Savior, Sunday, August 8, 2021, in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Rose was the daughter of Murray and Anne (Bosrock) Johnson of Battle Creek; born May 22, 1938. She graduated from St. Philip High School and married Stanley K. She loved drawing hilarious pictures in birthday cards, treasuring family above all! Rose valued the importance of teaching others to know God as their Savior and taught 3rd grade Sunday School in the 1970’s and was the reading assistant at Heritage Hills Christian School. She most recently attended BC Friends Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, on March 4, 2018. Also preceding her in death were her parents, daughter Lori Avers and granddaughter, Nicole Kidney.
