Ronald G. “Gary” Stebleton, Age 73, Of Battle Creek, Died Friday, April 6, 2012, at his residence. Gary was born on September 4, 1938, in Battle Creek, the son of Maywood and Virginia (House) Stebleton. He had been a lifelong resident of the area graduating from Battle Creek Central in 1957. He was a veteran serving in the Air National Guard. On September 25, 1960, he was united in marriage to the former Patricia L. Bumb-Bailey who survives. He was employed as a dockman for Associated Truck Lines. Ron was a member of Central Christian Church and was secretary of two senior golf leagues. He enjoyed Stamps, cards, coins and was an avid sports fan of all the Michigan teams. Surviving are children, Timmy T. (Lori) Stebleton, Michael (Amber) Stebleton of Battle Creek and Eric (Lisa) Stebleton of Marshall; 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Brian (Julie) Stebleton of Ormond Beach, FL, Roxanne (Greg) Schreiner and Bradd Stebleton of Battle Creek. He was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy (Stebleton) Nelson. In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held Saturday, April 14, 2012, from 10:00 a.m., until the start of the service at 11:00a.m. at Central Christian Church with Minister Gordon Pippin officiating.
