Ronald Barker

Ronald F Barker, age of 85, of Battle Creek Michigan passed away peacefully Wednesday November 6, 2019. He was born on February 11, 1934 in Covington Kentucky, the son of James and Antoinette (Hauser) Barker. Ron graduated from Holmes High School in Covington Kentucky. He married Barbara Kahn on September 17, 1955.  Ron served his country in the US Army stationed in San Francisco California achieving the rank of SP4. Ron‘s career was in drafting retiring from the Eaton Corporation. He enjoyed traveling, reading and photography. Ron was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Barbara (Kahn) Barker. He is survived by daughters Terri (Eric) Dilno of Battle Creek Michigan, Sheri (Mark) Roberts of Bellevue Michigan, Karen Schifter (James Blanks) of Frisco Texas; and son Thomas (Joanne) Barker of Maumee Ohio, 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place. Private committal services for the family will be at Fort Custer National Cemetery.
