Robert "Bob" Taft

Robert “Bob” Erwin Taft,  age 83, of Battle Creek, passed away on March 23, 2021 at Bronson Battle Creek.  He was born on September 26, 1937 in Battle Creek, the son of Erwin and Lucille (Hoenes) Taft.  Robert was united in marriage on June 19, 1959 to Bonnie Gibbons, she preceded him in death on December 19, 2020.  He was employed for many years as a truck driver.  Following his retirement from truck driving, Robert continued working at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home since 2003.  He survived by his daughter; Tammy (Steve) Allison, son; Steven Taft, and grandson; Tim Westenbroek.  Private interment will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery.  Memories and condolences may be left for the family at www.henryfuneralhome.org
