Robert "Bob" Carlson

Robert “Bob” Carlson, age 87, of Battle Creek, passed away on June 17, 2022 into the arms of Jesus.  Bob was born on November 28, 1935 in Marshall, MI., the son of Julius and Florence (Hill) Carlson.  Bob graduated in 1954 from Muncie Central High School in Muncie, Indiana.  He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and was employed by the Ford Motor Company for 20 years, retiring in 2000.  Bob loved traveling, bicycling, and spending time with his family.  He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter; Jamie Kilbourne and a grandson; Jim Carlson.  Surviving are his wife; Cho He “Sonya”  Carlson, daughter; Penny (Marc) Baker, sister; Pat Mullenix and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Funeral service is scheduled for 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home & Cremation Services, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  Interment will follow the service at Fort Custer National Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be directed to Glenn Arbor Place in Bob’s Memory.  Condolences and memories may be shared with the family at www.henryfuneralhome.org
