Robert Levey

Robert A. Levey age 78, of Battle Creek, passed away December 27, 2016.  He was born on August 21, 1938 in Marshall, Michigan the son of George and Elizabeth (Cooper) Levey.  He was united in Marriage on July 23, 1980 in Marshall, Michigan to Ruth Anthony.  Robert lived in Battle Creek area for over thirty years, and was employed as a gauge room controller for the Union pump Company for nineteen years.  In his spare time, Robert enjoyed collecting guns and target shooting, reading, music, spending time with his great grandchildren and especially enjoyed his Reese’s Cups.  He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter; Amy L. Vinzant in 2001, son; Robert A. Levey Jr. in 2013, brothers; Jim Levey and Phillip Levey.  Surviving are his wife; Ruth Levey of Battle Creek, son; Sean M. Vinzant of Battle Creek, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.  In accordance to his wishes, cremation has taken place.  The family will receive friends from 5:00-6:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 12, 2016 at the Richard A.
