Robert “Bob” Feiser, age 97, passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Heritage Assisted Living in Battle Creek. He was born on December 22, 1922 to Frank and Etta Feiser in Argos, Indiana. On December 11, 1943 he married Donna M. (Kramb) Feiser and they were married for sixty-nine years. Bob served his country during WWII as a gunner’s mate in the U.S. Navy. He was assigned to a Naval gun crew and made fourteen crossings of the North Atlantic on various Liberty Ships. He worked for Grand Trunk Western Railroad from 1950 until his retirement in 1983. He was an avid outdoorsman, especially enjoying fishing and hunting. Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Donna M. Feiser, parents, Frank and Etta Feiser, brother, Earl Feiser, sisters, June Drawnt and Rosetta Brooks. He is survived by his son, Ron (Donna Jean) Feiser of East Leroy, and granddaughter, Amy K. Feiser-Neitzel of Columbia, Illinois. Due to Covid-19, a private service will be held at a later date. Interment will take place at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Pastor Charles Winter officiating. Memories and condolences may be left for the family at www.henryfuneralhome.org
