Robert “Randy” Dunmire, age 47 of Union City, passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at Glenn Arbor Hospice. He was born August 27, 1970 in Rockford, Illinois the son of Robert Eugene and Clara Dee (Nichols) Dunmire. Randy was a 1988 graduate of Battle Creek Central High School. He had worked for Chapmans Landscape, was a concrete pump operator at Duckworth Brothers, Cross Enterprises and Christman Constructors, and was a member of Operating Engineers Local #324. Randy had the “gift of gab” and never met a stranger. He enjoyed going to car shows and spending time with his friends and family hosting gatherings in his man cave and around the bonfire. On June 17, 1995 he was married to Kelly McClure, who survives. Also surviving are, his son: Colin Robert Dunmire of Battle Creek; his mother: Clara Dunmire of Franklin, Texas; seven brothers and sisters: Connie Hovey of Streetsboro, Ohio; Michael (Shelly) Dunmire of Battle Creek; Jeffery Dunmire of Las Vegas, Nevada; James (Dorothy) Dunmire of Battle Creek; Patricia (Clarence) McComb of Franklin, Texas; Darrin (Lyonna) Dunmire of Franklin, Texas; and Debra (Angel) Dunmire of Battle Creek; and many nieces and nephews. Randy was preceded in death by his father Robert E. Dunmire on June 10, 2017. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Fulton Christian Church, 14108 E. W Avenue, Fulton, MI 49052. The family will receive friends at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home on Friday, December 1, 2017 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family. www.henryfuneralhome.org
