Richard J. Pollack, Age 59, Of Battle Creek, Died Saturday, September 1, 2012, at his residence. Richard was born on February 21, 1953, in Battle Creek, the son of John P. and Stephanie M. (Munger) Pollack. He had been a lifelong resident of the area graduating from Springfield High School in 1971 and then received his Associates Degree in Art from Kellogg Community College. In 1978, he was united in marriage to the former Debra K. Kirkpatrick who survives. Richard was employed at the Federal Center for 21 years before taking a disability retirement due to MS. He enjoyed playing sports and being with his family. Surviving are sons, Brian Pollack of Naperville, IL, and Brad (Rachael) Pollack of Thornton, CO; grandchildren, Emma and Austin Pollack and a sister, Mary (Chet) Dusnik of Arizona. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, John J. Pollack. In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5 to 7:00 p.m., at the Richard A.
