Richard A. Hudon, 76, of Battle Creek passed away Tuesday May 24, 2011 at the VA Medical Center. He was born on October 28, 1934 in Battle Creek to Antoine J. and Helen J. (Jevnem) Hudon.
Richard graduated from St. Philip High School in 1952. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 21 years as a Master Sergeant retiring in 1973. Richard enjoyed fishing, gardening, and especially spending time with his nieces and nephews.
Richard is survived by a brother, Antoine J. “Tony” (Sally) Hudon Jr., of Battle Creek, sisters, Helen “June” (Richard M.D.) Treanor, of FL; Julia Ann (Bob) Mascho, of CA; Yvonne E. (David) Alcorn, of Battle Creek, and any nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jerome (Jerry) Hudon.
Graveside services will be held 10am Friday May 27, 2011 at Ft. Custer National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to American Cancer Society or charity of one’s choice. Arrangements are by the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home.
