Richard Thomas Holevinski, age 66, of Battle Creek, passed away on April 21, 2021 at his residence. He was born on July 29, 1954 in Battle Creek, the son of Thomas and Barbara (Sanford) Holevinski. Richard was a graduate of Battle Creek Central High School and worked as a truck driver. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. Richard enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family and friends. He proudly served as a Sargent and Missile Maintenance Technician in the United States Airforce. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, sister; Elizabeth “Jane” Ogden, and brothers; Daniel Matthew and Mark Allen Holevinski. Surviving are his children; Matthew Thomas Holevinski of Holton, KS., Misti Lin Hemminger of Battle Creek, MI., Amber Ann Hemminger of Detroit, MI., brother; Virgil “Butch” Earl Owen of Portage, MI., sister; Katherine Susan Hilbert of Howell, MI., long time life partner; Mikel Munn of Battle Creek, several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at Richard A. Henry Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Mask are required for those in attendance, and 25 persons allowed at a time in the funeral home. Private committal services will take place at Fort Custer National Cemetery.
