Raymond Petch

Raymond  D.  Petch, Age 79, Of Battle Creek, Died on Saturday, October 25, 2014, surrounded by his family. Raymond was born on April 7, 1935, in Battle Creek, the son of Charles and Lillian (Casey) Petch. He was a graduate of Lakeview High School. Raymond worked for Grand Trunk Railroad as a switchman for 43 years. He married Wanda Petch who survives. He enjoyed golfing and working at Binder Park Golf Course. He loved going to the beach, playing with his grandchildren and loved his family and friends. Surviving is a daughter, Karen Petch of Nicholasville, KY; sons, Tracy Petch of Battle Creek and Tony (Tracey) Petch of Newnan, GA; 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents. In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 29, 2014, at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
