Raymond Kelley

Raymond Patrick Kelley, Age 88, Of Battle Creek, Died Friday, January 11, 2013, at Tendercare in Marshall. Raymond was born on March 17, 1924, in Battle Creek, the son of Francis and Vera (Peabody) Kelley.  Raymond was one of eight children of Frank and Vera. He had been a lifelong resident graduating from Battle Creek Central where he met his wife of 65 years.  He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army 76th Infantry during WWII. On December 24, 1947, he was united in marriage to the former Donna Jean Lampman who survives. He was employed at the Kellogg Company as a forklift driver retiring in 1985. Raymond was a member of Battle Creek Friends Church. Surviving are children, David (Jeanne) Kelley of Denmark, WI, Susan (James) Walker, Daniel (Carla) Kelley, Patrick (Patti) Kelley all of Battle Creek and Timothy Kelley of Marysville, OH; 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2 to 4:00pm and 6 to 8:00 pm at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm, Monday, January 14, 2013, at Battle Creek Friends Church with Pastor Kelly Hadlich officiating. Interment will be at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens.
