Randall Broach

Randall R. Broach, BSN, RN, CWON, age 58 of Suttons Bay, Michigan and Indian Lake, Pennsylvania passed away on June 4, 2017.  He was born October 26, 1958 in Battle Creek, Michigan, the son of Robert and Lucille (Dornfelt) Broach.  He was united in marriage on January 3, 1981 in Hastings, Michigan to Karen Baker.  Randall received his BS Degree in nursing from the University of Pittsburgh and the Conemaugh School of Nursing, and Associates Degree in Wound, Ostomy, & Continence from Emory University.  He worked as a registered nurse at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, University of Wisconsin Hospital, University of Alabama Hospital, and various Veterans Affairs Medical Centers.  He was a member of the Wound, Ostomy & Continence Nurse Society and the Conemaugh Alumni Association.  Randall enjoyed boating, home improvements, wood crafting, fishing, and most importantly spending time with his family.  He is survived by his wife, Karen Broach of Suttons Bay, Michigan; son, Christopher (Andrea) Broach of Washington, DC; daughter, Jennifer (Ryan Gehninger) Broach of St. Louis, Missouri; mother, Lucille Broach; mother-in-law, Barbara Baker; sister, Sandra (Robert) Heath; granddaughter, Ellie Broach; and Lloyd, man’s best friend.  In accordance to his wishes, cremation has taken place.  Visitation will be held 10:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home in Battle Creek, Michigan with a memorial service to follow with Reverend Michael Heath officiating.  Following the memorial service, a luncheon will be held at Clara's On The River in Battle Creek, Michigan.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warriors Family Support at www.wwfs.org. Condolences may be left for the family at www.henryfuneralhome.org
