Peggy Ann (Sybert) Norris, age 77, died peacefully surrounded by her family on May 19 th , 2021 after suffering a stroke. Peggy was born October 8, 1943 in Decatur Alabama, the daughter of Herman and Selma (Brady) Sybert. She graduated in 1961 from Battle Creek Central High School. After high school she met and married Lynn Lincoln on August 30, 1964 and together had three children, Sherry Vinton, Sabrina Healy and Sue Ann Lincoln. After 23 years, that marriage ended in divorce. Later she moved to Midland Michigan for a short time, which is where she met Dan Norris, they married August 4, 1993 and remained married until his death in 2017. Peggy lived in Hillsdale Michigan where she worked at the Hillsdale College in the cleaning department. She remained there for many years before heading south to Robertsdale Alabama, where she was employed at Walmart before retiring for health reasons. Peggy and Dan moved to Pensacola FL to be closer to her daughter Sherry. After the passing of her husband, Peggy remained in FL until just recently, moving back to Michigan. Peggy enjoyed many things but the things that brought her the most joy was spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids. She enjoyed camping, gardening, puzzles, playing cards, word games and baking. Peggy is survived by a sister, Virginia (Jim) Vaden of Battle Creek MI, two brothers, Joe (Mary) Sybert of Kalamazoo MI, and Charles (Kay) Sybert of Russell Springs, KY, daughters Sherry (Ron) Vinton of Pensacola FL, Sabrina Healy of Battle Creek MI, 8 grandchildren, Justin, Kayla, Shanelle, Madison, Kerston, Mackenzie, Nathan, 7 great-grandchildren, Aurora, Brody, Madalynn, Audrey and Ara-Bella, many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her parents Herman and Selma, daughter Sue Ann, husband Dan, son-in-law Mark and great grandson Bennett.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday May 23 at 882 Upton Ave., Springfield MI.
