Pauline Baker

Pauline E.  Baker, Age 97, Of Battle Creek, Died Saturday, May 11, 2013, at Care Community Assisted Living. Pauline was born on May 27, 1915, in Battle Creek, the daughter of Charles and Mary (VanAsperen) Eells. She had been a lifelong resident of the area and worked at Post Cereals in the packing Department retiring in 1979. On August 5, 1934, she was united in marriage to Willard F. Baker who preceded her in death. Pauline attended the First Church of Nazarene in Battle Creek. She enjoyed camping and playing bingo. Surviving are children, Louise Brunner of Battle Creek, Mary Jane Coy of Ocala, FL, Carl (Janet) Baker of Hastings and Charles (Sandy) Baker of Battle Creek; 16 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 5 sisters, a brother, and special friend, Harold Mack. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 18, 2013, at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home with The Rev. Jim Spohn officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens.
