Pauline Bailey

Pauline Bailey, Age 97, Of Battle Creek, Pauline (Gilbert) Bailey born January 4, 1918 at Eddyville, Ill to William R. and Bertha (King) Gilbert. She attended school in Illinois through grade school and graduated from high school in Idaho. She came to Michigan in 1937. She married George L. Bailey March 23, 1940 and was married to him until his passing on March 20, 1984. She was employed for 15 years at the former L.W. Robinson department store in Battle Creek, MI. She enjoyed walking, working in her yard, going to garage sales and bazaars and being with her family. She is survived by one daughter, Saundra (Sandy) Oversmith, two grandchildren; Carol (Tim) Berridge of Martin, MI and L.Clark (Kristi) Oversmith of Florida; 5 great grandchildren, Aundria (Jeff) Meyer, Amy (Kevin) Brandes, Allyson (Jeff) Salmon, T.J. (Kristina) Berridge and Kloey Oversmith; 6 great-great Grandchildren, Joshua, Hunter, J.T., Noah, Cameron and Annabelle and one more great granddaughter due soon.  She is also survived by niece and nephews ; Bob (Lorna) Foster, Dennis (Lois) Foster and Tamara Fraley; several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband George, parents, 2 sisters; Helen Foster and Jean Mille and a niece, Judith Artz. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2 to 4:00 p.m. and 6 to 8:00 p.m., at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 30, 2015, at the funeral home. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. www.henryfuneralhome.org
