Paul “Carson” Grubb, age 79, of Battle Creek died Friday, November 18, 2016. He was born in Kendallville, Indiana on August 23, 1937 the son of Paul & Talitha (Bowen) Grubb. Carson graduated from Kendallville High school, and then attended Purdue University where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. He came to Battle Creek in 1970 from Dearborn, Michigan. Carson worked for the Kellogg Company for over twenty years. He was a member of the Kiwanis Club of Battle Creek, Bedford Masonic Lodge #207 F&AM, and the Battle Creek Engineers Club. Carson served in the United States Army. In his spare time, Carson enjoyed working with stained glass, woodworking, ice fishing, helping others, and being part of a hot air balloon chase crew. Carson was preceded in death by two sisters; Sarah Klees in 2012, and Alice Robart in 2015. He is survived by two daughters; Melissa (Steve) Metzger of Battle Creek, Deborah (Mike) Johnson of Phoenix, AZ., and a son; Matthew (Sarah) Grubb of Owosso, MI. Brother; Thomas (Dinah) Grubb of Galesburg, MI., eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. In accordance to his wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 27, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home. Memorial service 11:00 A.M., Monday, November 28, 20016 at Central Christian Church with Rev. Gordon Pippin officiating.
