Paul Edwards

Paul Duglas Edwards, 65, of Battle Creek passed away Friday, July 9, 2021 at his residence. Paul was born on April 29, 1956 in Spring City, TN to John A. and Avalee (James) Edwards. Paul was part owner of the Drive Thru Party Factory, a landscaper, maintenance man but he was most proud of being a flat top roofer for Sheriff Gosling Co.

Paul loved listening to his music at the highest possible volume, his lawn freshly cut and watching thunderstorms. He enjoyed drawing, playing pool and telling dad jokes. He was a collector of albums and Popeye memorabilia.

Paul is survived by his girlfriend, Celesta Hamaker of Battle Creek; his two daughters, Tehanne (Eric) Cooney of Athens and Natasha (Scott) Brandt of Battle Creek; his son, Paul D Edwards of Battle Creek; a sister, Peggie (Dan) Williams of Sparta, TN; four granddaughters, Ava, Addison, Shai and Maya; several nieces and nephews and lifelong friend, Jerry (Yvonne) Rose. He is preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Anna (Bea) Spring and Geraldine Quarles and his brothers, John Mitchell Edwards and Russell Edwards.
