Patricia A. Williams, age 70, of Battle Creek, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at the Laurels of Bedford in Battle Creek, Michigan. She was born October 8, 1948 in Evansville, Indiana the daughter of Tommie and Lorraine Williams. Patricia was a 1966 graduate of Evansville Central High School. She worked at the Federal Center in Battle Creek, then moved to Detroit, and while living there she worked at Michigan Bell. When she returned to Battle Creek she worked for the Friend of the Court for several years. Pat was united in marriage to Clarence Williams in Battle Creek, Michigan. Her hobbies included reading, playing cards, doing crossword puzzles and spending time with family and friends. Those who knew her, knew that she spoke her mind. She was preceded in death by her sister Wilma Williams, parents Tommie and Lorraine Williams, and husband Clarence Williams. Pat is survived by her daughter DeAndra (Clyde) Sanders of Battle Creek, grandchildren: Alphonzo (Sa’Neekique) Wright, Cli’eesha Sanders, Tanesha Sanders, Keeosha Sanders and Clyde Sanders II; great-grandchildren: Maliyah Harris and Jaiden Warden-Sanders all of Battle Creek; sisters: Doris (Billy) McGee-Rogers of Evansville, Indiana and Lauris McGee of Battle Creek; brother Larry Williams of Battle Creek, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Pat also had a faithful longtime friend Camilla White. Funeral services will be held 12:30 p.m. Monday, January 7, 2019 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home with a family hour from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Interment will follow at Fort Custer National Cemetery. www.henryfuneralhome.org
