Patricia Ann Turley

Patricia Ann Turley, age 88, a beloved member of the Battle Creek community, passed away on January 29, 2024, at the age of 88. She was born in Battle Creek, Michigan on December 9, 1935, the daughter of Benjamin and Allie (Gould) Chaney. In her years, Patricia developed a strong work ethic. She held various positions throughout her career, working at Michigan Bell, U.S. Register, F.W. Woolworth, W.T. Grant, and Trans America Insurance. Patricia approached her work with dedication and professionalism.  Beyond her professional accomplishments, Patricia cherished her role as a wife and mother. On July 3, 1954, she married the love of her life, James E. Turley. They embarked on a beautiful journey together filled with love and devotion. Sadly, James preceded her in death. Patricia's nurturing nature extended beyond her immediate family. She took great pride in being an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church throughout her life. Her faith played a central role in shaping her character and guiding her actions. In addition to her commitment to family and faith, Patricia found solace and joy in various hobbies and interests. She had a talent for crocheting and cross-stitching intricate patterns that showcased both skill and creativity. Her attention to detail was also evident in her passion for puzzles which she delighted in solving. In quieter moments, Patricia loved watching Nascar races unfold while cheering on her favorite drivers with excitement. Patricia held dear the connections she shared with family and friends. She treasured the time spent with loved ones above all else and made it a priority to cultivate these meaningful relationships throughout her lifetime. Patricia is survived by her loving children: James C. Turley, Gregory Turley, Christopher Turley, Robert Turley, Janette Turley, and Cindy Turley. She was also a proud grandmother to 15 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

To honor Patricia's life, a visitation will be held on February 11, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Richard A Henry Funeral Home & Cremation Services, located at 703 Capital Ave SW in Battle Creek, Michigan. A Memorial Mass is scheduled for February 12, 2024, at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
