Died Friday, August 31, 2018 at the Oaks at NorthPointe Woods. Patricia was born on August 18, 1930, in West Rutland, Vermont, the daughter of Eusebe and Dorothy (Perkins) Sevigny. She had been an area resident since 1954. On October 2, 1953, she was united in marriage to Wayne Raymond who preceded her in death in 2014. Through the years, Patricia worked as a hostess in local restaurants and as a nurses aid at Calhoun County Medical Care Facility. She was very active in the Catholic community, organizing Sunday Suppers, Thrift Shop, TEC, teaching religious education, anywhere she was needed. She was a member of St. Philip Catholic Church. She also worked in the community helping care for those who could use a helping hand or a meal. She volunteered with Hospice, Red Cross, and the hospital. Surviving are her children, Marlene (James) Hazdra of Battle Creek, Richard (Sherry) Raymond of Battle Creek, Dianne (Steve) Ferrera of Nevada, Debra (Stanley) Wawzysko of Ceresco and Lynn (Giovanni) Raymond of Chicago, IL; 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Sevigny; a sister, Charlotte Sevigny; and stepbrothers, Robert Trepanier and William Trepanier. Visitation will be held Monday September 3, from 4pm to 6pm at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home with a Rosary at 6pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m., September 4, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will be at Fort Custer National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Marian E.
