Patricia Mullins

Patricia Ann Mullins, age 82, of Battle Creek passed away on April 17, 2018.  She was born on April 3, 1936 in Smyrna, Tennessee, the daughter of Frank and Edna (Mann) Wright.  She was a graduate of Smyrna High School.  She later graduated cum laude from Western Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree in education.  Patricia was united in Marriage on December 23, 1954 to James Mullins.  She previously worked for AT&T Telephone in customer service, then teaching for over twenty-five years at Prairieview Elementary School from which she retired.  Patricia was a member of the Gideons auxiliary and attended Faith Baptist Church where she was an active member.  She enjoyed sewing, genealogy and traveling with her grandchildren.  Surviving are her loving husband; James Mullins of Battle Creek, daughters; Linda (Dan) VanSyckle of Battle Creek, Leslie (Michael) Horaney of Grand Rapids, Janice (Stephen) Fedele of Chelsea, brother; Donald Wright, sister; Martha Wright both of Murfreesboro, TN., eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.  Friends may call from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 20, 2018 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home & Cremation Services.  Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Faith Baptist Church, with visitation one-hour prior at the church.  Rev.
