Patricia Ann Homan, age 77, of Battle Creek, passed away Friday, July 1, 2016 at the Calhoun County Medical Care Facility. She was born August 3, 1938 in Battle Creek, Michigan, the daughter of Cordas Carl and Lillian Beatrice (Davis) Cutsinger. Pat was a 1956 graduate of Battle Creek Central High School and was an Executive Secretary at the Kellogg Company retiring after 23 years of dedicated service. Pat had also worked at Liberty Mutual Insurance Company and Western Michigan University prior to beginning her career at Kellogg’s. She was a past member of the American Business Women’s Association, V.F.W. Auxiliary and was particularly passionate about her role with the Battle Creek Central Hall of Fame committee. Pat was a very giving and caring person always known for her help to others. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, particularly her grandchildren, which included many trips to special destinations. She enjoyed gardening, knitting, reading, preparing Sunday dinners for her family and was an avid sports fan. Pat was previously married to Edward Homan, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her son, Timothy Edward Homan and a sister, Linda Crane. Surviving are two sons: Ted Homan of Battle Creek and Tod (Michele) Homan of Jacksonville, Florida; eight grandchildren and many beloved great-grandchildren; a sister, Carol (Mike) Quartermaine of Augusta, a brother, Cordas C. (Arlene) Cutsinger, Jr. of Battle Creek, and many beloved nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, July 7, 2016 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens.
