Patricia Gresley

Patricia F. (Wilk) Gresley, age 81, of Ceresco, passed away December 10, 2020 at her son’s home.  She was born on November 11, 1939 in Battle Creek, the daughter of John and Mary (Szmyd) Wilk.  Pat was a lifelong resident of Ceresco.  She was a homemaker and previously ran a family greenhouse and store.  She was often found on Saturday mornings in downtown Battle Creek, selling plants and harvest from her gardens at, the farmer’s market.  Pat loved to play bingo, cards, and gardening with her family.  She loved to decorate for every holiday, Christmas being her favorite.  Pat’s life revolved around her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, husband, James Gresley, sisters; Irene Mellich and Delores Billingston, brothers; Chester, Tommy, Stanley (Stasiu) and John Wilk.  Surviving her are children; Scott of Ceresco, Pam of Battle Creek, Shawn of Saginaw, Bill of Marshall, siblings; Emily Lentych of South Bend, IN., Julia Shirk, brothers; Jack (Kuba) and Louie Wilk, all of Battle Creek, twelve grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Graveside services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 17, 2020, at the Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan, 222 N Kalamazoo Mall, Kalamazoo, MI 49007.  Memories and condolences may be left for the family at www.henryfuneralhome.org
