Pamela Jean Clark (St. Clair), age 76, passed away on Friday, November 24, 2023. She is survived by her beloved Husband of 32 years, LTC Charlie Clark, daughter Terri (John) Bury; daughter, Stacy (Ken) Garrison; son, Joe (Jennifer) Biggerstaff; Son Jarod (Holly) Clark; daughter, Holly Clark; twelve grandchildren: Lawson, Hunter, McKenna, Brock, Lauren, Shawn, Trent, Jacob, Dilan ,Caiden, Abigail and Gillian; one great grandchild Ryan, Sister Paula (Chris) Baldner; brothers: Bob (Diana), Scott, and Drew (Karen) St. Clair, and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Everett and Phyllis St. Clair and brothers Dave (Beth) and Dennis St. Clair. In remembrance of a life well-lived, we honor Pam, who began her journey in Hammond, Indiana, and found the roots of her childhood in Griffith. A graduate of Griffith High School in 1964, Pam later established her home in Battle Creek, dedicating herself to raising a loving family. After 27 years of service at Kellogg’s, she gracefully embraced retirement. Pam's leisure moments were filled with joyous activities. A devoted fan of NASCAR and the Chicago Cubs, she found excitement in the speed of racing and the thrill of baseball. Golf and bowling were not merely pastimes for Pam but avenues for fostering connections. Over winter days, she delighted in the challenge of puzzles or playing Words with Friends. Nature held a special place in Pam's heart. The vibrant flowers she planted were a testament to her green thumb, creating a colorful haven around her. The birds and squirrels became her daily companions, recipients of her care and kindness. Among them, hummingbirds brought her a unique joy that will be fondly remembered. As we bid farewell to Pam, let us remember the echoes of her laughter, the warmth of her nurturing spirit, and the joy she found in life's simple pleasures. May her legacy of love and appreciation for the world around her be a guiding light for those who mourn her passing. A memorial service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 4, 2023 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home & Cremation services, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will take place at Fort Custer National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
