Olan Harold Ludwick

Olan Harold Ludwick, age 76 of Battle Creek, passed away on August 19, 2023. He was born on January 27, 1947, in Battle Creek, Michigan, the son of Harold Clifford and Ruth Naomi (Camburn) Ludwick. After graduating from Harper Creek High School, Olan served his country in the U.S. Navy.  Following his honorable discharge, Olan began work at General Motors, Fisher Body Plant in Kalamazoo and retired after 33 years of service. Olan is survived by his wife, Illa Fay (Morgan) Ludwick; three children, Greg (Erica) Ludwick of New York, Fonda Wilson of Battle Creek, and Rhonda (Larry) Howard of Ceresco; six grandchildren: Brandon, Ashley, Chelsea, Dylan, Jacob and Thomas and five great-grandchildren; sister, Jean (Arthur) Schultz of Ceresco; brother, Dale Perry of Battle Creek and sister-in-law, Nancee Ludwick of Bellevue. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Jimmy and David Ludwick, and a sister, Saralee Philo. A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 28th, 2023 at Fort Custer National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. Those wishing to attend, please meet in the assembly area prior to the service time.
