Nelson Beaudin

Nelson Y. Beaudin, 83, of Battle Creek died Wednesday August 3, 2011 at the VA Medical Center. He was born on Nov. 30, 1927 in Bay City, MI to Ives and Edna (Christenson) Beaudin. He was employed in Flint for five years at the Chevy Plant and Anderson Tank for two years, then he was self-employed as a welder in Flint for many years. His first marriage to Marylyn Miller ended in divorce in 1956. He then married Ruby G. Banta, she preceded him in death on Dec. 28, 1997. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He has a son Patrick Beaudin, of Ohio. Graveside services will be held 11 am Wednesday at Woodlawn Cemetery, Vermontville, MI. Military honors by the U.S. Army. Arrangements by the Richard A.
